Born and raised in Oshkosh, WI. but Josh has found a new home for the past 10 years in Minneapolis, MN. Josh grew up loving to sing in church and play drums with his high school garage band. For the past few years Josh has been playing with his band comprised of Dustin Smith (all sorts of strings) Eric Smith (drums) and Joe Meyer (bass).

Music has always been a part of us. How We move, how we think, when we are up or down, music has been a constant. The joy in writing music is learning to find the gems, the memorable elements, in sometimes unexpected parts of life. Whether these are funny, sad, profound or seemingly random, our mission is to capture within them something familiar and essential.
