Twin Citizen is a collection of individuals dedicated to crafting unique, accessible, funk, alternative, synth, progressive and independent style of rock music. Consisting of Joe Hartley on vocals and rhythm guitar, Adam Lifto on lead guitar, Paul Narlock on bass, Will Hanson on keys and Joe Diaz on drums, Twin Citizen reflects a vast spectrum of musical interests, influences and musical experiences. Outside of our singer Joe Hartley, who is a Michigander transplant, we are all Minnesota natives. During the Covid-19 winter of our discontent, Twin Citizen formed and began writing music out of NE Minneapolis, and as clubs opened up, Twin Citizen has quickly filled out their upcoming schedule with shows at The Driftwood Char Bar, The Southern Theatre, The Underground Music Cafe, The 331 Bar, The Terminal Bar, 7th St. Entry, The Aster Cafe and The Amsterdam Bar. Twin Citizen recently went into the studio to complete the recording, mixing and mastering of six songs that will appear on their upcoming release Splinter called “Escape Room,” “Kimmy Gibbler,” and “Everywhere I Roam,” “Domino,” Stranger Danger” and “Splinter.” The first five songs from our upcoming release can be found on all of the major music platforms.
