Logan Springer is an Alt Country/Americana singer songwriter from small town (Tremont) Central Illinois currently residing on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities…by way of Washington, DC and St. Louis, MO. Logan has spent his adult life in a myriad of locales, collecting experiences, friends and stories. Music was not an integral part of his raising and came later in life for him, but his thirst for story telling and trying to understand the complexities of the world have always been present. Diving headfirst into the catalogs of artists like Jason Isbell, Neil Young, John Steinbeck and more recently Tyler Childers and Donald Ray Pollock, opened up a whole new world for him as a writer. Hearing plain spoken folks wax poetically about both the stories of the everyday man as well as complex, confusing and emotional topics showed him that his stories had a place.

Logan finds inspiration from his early life in a small Central Illinois town and the characters surrounding his large extended farming family, as well as his early 20’s and 30’s bouncing around the country collecting memories. He’s been accused of being both a Redneck and being well read. When asked about these accusations, he concedes that both are true, proving it’s possible to be a “Wellredneck”.

Now backed by an all-star cast of musicians from the Quad Cities, Logan’s songs have been fully realized and are ready for the stage.
