Leslie Vincent Presents an Evening of Amy Winehouse and Carole King
October 13 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
“The unique sound was something that I had never heard of before and, when mixed with her overly talented band, left my head in the clouds” – Girl at a Rock Show.
Leslie Vincent presents “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow: An Evening of Amy Winehouse & Carole King” to kj’s hideaway. Brimming with heartache and joy, this show celebrates the resilience of the human heart and the universal truths that Amy and Carole both share.
Featuring Ted Godbout on keys, Ted Olsen on bass, Ben Ehrlich on drums, and Mitch Van Laar on trumpet, as well as tunes from Leslie’s debut album, These Foolish Things.
Categorized as a cross between Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, and Ingrid Michaelson, Leslie Vincent is a Twin Cities singer to keep your eye on. Her 2020 debut jazz album These Foolish Things was released to local acclaim, including a sold-out show at Crooners Supper Club and a front-page feature in Lavender Magazine.
“If you’ve seen or heard Leslie, you know what an incredible and unique voice she has” – Cherry and Spoon.
