Culture Zoom

Jones and Bloom’s Culture Zoom are an R&B-slash-jazz-flavored ensemble that weaves together musical genres from Black and Jewish American communities to create a crowd-pleasing, foot-tapping musical presentation. The lyrics in their music carry messages of cultural awareness, common humanity, respect, fellowship and understanding between races.

Culture Zoom is a collaborative artistic initiative developed by Geoff Jones and Mark Bloom, purposely using message music as a vehicle for dialogue and positive change. Geoff was a longtime member and principal vocalist with the Grammy-winning Sounds of Blackness, and Mark has graced local and national theatres and performance venues as musical director and performer for thirty-plus years.
