Cody Steinmann has been performing and teaching for over 10 years. An outstanding improviser, Cody has become a fixture on the Twin Cities Jazz scene where he has performed with many world class artists. Recently, Cody was a featured artist alongside Grammy award winning bass player Ben Williams, known for his work with Pat Metheny Unity Band, and on Solomon Parham’s 2022 release Forward. In 2023, Cody has been busy releasing singles with his working trio and he hosts a monthly Jam session at kj’s hideaway.

     Thomas Woytko is a Trombonist originally from the Duluth area. His sextet Is a group of premiere musicians picked from the Jazz Programs at UMD and UWEC. The      Sextet plays original compositions inspired by artists such as Jason Robert Brown, Walter Smith III, Nick Finzer, Ben Wendel, and others.
