The official formation of Chris Davies and The Promise Land Band came after their historic performance at the First Avenue owned Turf Club in St. Paul on January 11, 2019. They are a band based in the Twin Cities known for their splendid mix of Americana and Pop. CD & The PLB have been enjoyed by audiences from The 7th Street Entry to the Surf Ballroom and this will be their second time playing kj’s hideaway. Their concerts are highly entertaining and rich in original material. The Promise Land Band features Joel Ocampo on drums, Dan Baker on bass, Sylvia Scoggin on fiddle and Larissa Beck on background vocals and tambourine.
