Bryan Murray Trio with an opening set by Steve Clark’s Chordless
February 18 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
After 20 years of performing in the NY music scene, Bryan Murray has recently relocated to Apple Valley, Minnesota with his family. With an established background and education in jazz, Bryan pushed boundaries and led the “avant country” band Bryan and the Haggards, focusing on the songwriting of country music legend Merle Haggard. He has also been a regular sideman on other projects including Moppa Elliott’s Unspeakable Garbage, and Jon Lundbom’s Big Five Chord, and had the opportunity to join the “Love This Giant” tour with David Byrne and St. Vincent. Some of Bryan’s latest projects utilize his prepared saxophone the “balto!” and are recorded under the pseudonym Balto Exclamationpoint.
