The Blue Ox Jazz Quintet just recently released their new album, and will have copies available for sale both physical and digital. Jazz fans from across the country and even a couple over in Germany and Greece have ordered copies of the record, which is only available for private purchase and on bandcamp. The Blue Ox Jazz Trio, is consistently upholding a busy performance schedule, performing at restaurants, clubs, weddings, private events, and countless retirement homes every year. They have previously performed at the Twin Cities Saturday Night Jazz Series at KJ’s Hideaway, and at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. In 2022 he had the opportunity to perform with the 9 time Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winner Wynton Marsalis.

Callum Schultz is a young bassist from Saint Paul who was one of my students this past January at Central High School. He’s opened for me a handful of times now, they’re always great. These guys are connected to walker west and won the small group jazz division this past spring at the Eau Claire Jazz Festival.
