Aaron Simmons Band
June 1 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Big man. Bigger heart. Hailing from Stewartville, Minnesota, Aaron Simmons is best known for his unique combination of high-energy stage presence and vulnerable songwriting. Nobody has more fun on stage, and nobody is more in touch with the emotion his music conveys.
Country music is storytelling, and that is what he does best.
Simmons released his debut album, “Third St SW,” independently in 2020. The record peaked at #5 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, with its second single, “That’s My Hometown,” being played over 100,000 times across all platforms. Since then, he has released singles, “78150,” “Nobody’s Home in Wadena,” and “Soldier in a Frame” and “Shawshank,” and is releasing an album in 2023.
Simmons was nominated for New Artist of the Year in 2021 by the Midwest Country Music Organization, and his single “Nobody’s Home in Wadena” held the #1 position on Spotify’s Local Pulse: Minneapolis chart for two consecutive weeks in August 2022.
Simmons has opened for Scotty McCreery, Parmalee, and Restless Road, and in 2023, he will share the stage with Easton Corbin, Deana Carter, Craig Campbell and Blackhawk, among others.
He has lived in Nashville since 2021 and is influenced by Garth Brooks, Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne and Tenille Townes.
