Steve Clarke is an award-winning bandleader, educator, and air bender. He has hundreds of performances and recordings with local, regional, and national artists including:  John Scofield, Michael Bolton, Shirley Witherspoon, Jeff Dayton, Mitch Woods, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Debbie Duncan, Patty Peterson, Charmin Michelle, Maurice Jacox, Lamont Cranston, Strawdogs, and many others. His band, The Working Stiffs, is one of the premier jazz and swing bands in the Twin Cities. They perform with passion, drive, and a sense of humor. The Working Stiffs were formed in 2001 as part of “Let Freedom Swing” a fundraiser for the families of the victims of 911.  They have received 10 Minnesota Music Awards for Jazz, Jazz Recording, and performance.  Steve was inducted into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame. is endorsed by Antigua Winds and has 3 Grammy nominations (including one for his work on Ringo 5.1) The Workings recently performed at the Dakota, Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Art and All That Jazz Festival and the Minnesota State Fair.
