“One Moment in Time” A Tribute to Whitney Houston by Julia Wheaton
September 29 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Owner of a powerful voice, the singer born in Minneapolis and naturalized Brazilian, Julia Wheaton, has been thrilling audiences wherever she goes with her unique talent. The 18 year-old singer raised by a Brazilian family brought together all the authenticity and richness of her two homes, Brazil and the United States, to develop her talent. At just 5 years old, Julia, who currently lives in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, had her first contact with the music world when she learned to play the piano. But it was with the Disney movie “Frozen” that she developed her passion for singing through the theme song “Let It Go”, which she sang ‘day and night’ as she describes it. With the obvious talent, her parents started to invest in singing lessons where her voice worthy of a “Soul queen” gained strength. Singing ended up becoming her great passion and focus of life. Despite being young, Julia demonstrates an impressionable professionalism and expertise, drawing the attention of several nationally and international renowned music producers. All this talent is evident in her songs!
